Objective

 

The symposium held on 15th February 2019, one of the most educating segment of the IAPex held every year, aimed this year to discuss the pros and cons of the urbanization of Lahore. The growing number of migrants moving towards the city has put forward a challenge for the planners to maintain the integrity and originality of the city while accommodating the growing population. The intention of this year's IAPex therefore was to bring together minds that can share strategies and case studies of the steps that can be taken as we move forward from here on. And to do just that everyone gathered on the second day of IAPex 2019. 
The session included presentations by architects including a few foreigners.
